Idle problem

I have a L322 with a m62 engine, when the car is warm the idle seems to drop to about 400 Rpm and nearly cuts out. Any ideas??

Could be air leak in the vacuum system somewhere, there are a few small pipes that are vulnerable
Have you got any diagnostics?
MAF maybe ?

Never used the icarsoft but would expect you connect it to your OBDII port and scan engine ECU
Anyone used icarsoft?

You can check maf readings in it no probs..select engine, select data stream and mass air flow readings are there...you can also select obdii diagnose and select it from there in either numerical readings or via graphs!

Sounds like the MAF. Mine was dirty so I replaced it with a new one and she purrs nicely at 750 rpm now.
