Refilling problems on my L322 FFRR TDV8

Hello
I'm new to this forum and new to owning a Range Rover. My car has developed a problem when refilling. At the pump it is taking me ages to fill as it keeps shutting off or spits back. I have tried putting the pump nozzle in at various angles but the problem still persists.
I would be greatful for any info on how to stop this problem.

Many thanks in advance

You need to reset the misfuel device.... you should see something yellow blocking the filler. You should have a yellow plastic tool to do this. It's in the manual....

Or at least try that first...

Even when reset I can't put the nozzle more than a couple inches in or it triggers again on mine.... I recon it's bust to be honest.... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Exactly the same happened to me the first time I filled it up. Took a while to work out what it was, but resetting fixed the problem.

You should find the yellow tool in the boot by the spare wheel Thumbs Up

I'd remove mine if I knew how.... I can't even put the correct nozzle in far without it triggering.......

My td6 didn't have one, so it really caught me out on the 4.4.....

I always put the hose in with it turned through 180, looks a bit odd but can get full flow.

/\ /\ Exactly this - a bit of a strange approach but it works. I heard about this trick from a mechanic in a pub - thought it was nonsense until I tried it and it worked. Don't seem to have same problem on L405

Yep - turn the nozzle upside down 180 degrees.
