Fitting deployable steps

I'm attempting fitting my steps this morning, I've taken all of the parks off and now I'm at the electrics, it says to connect a cable to number 19 on the C582 connector however there's no 19 in mine, the only connector which is the same size and has nothing connected is nunver 23? Des anyone know about this?
See my photo
Cheers

are you sure you have the right kit/instructions for the wiring.

Not saying you haven't but the instructions for the 2010-> kit indicates pin 19. Not sure if the 09 is the same? Just a thought There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Fitting mine today, the instructions look as they cover pre and post 2010 models, pre 10 (page 5 drawing 20) shows the feed piggy backs into a terminal, post 10 (page 8 drawing 34) shows the pin 19 your referring to.
Haven't got that far myself yet, ill keep you posted SC 4.2, 2012 face lifted, 25K miles, 1 previous owner

Nearly finished mine, the interior switch isn't working for some reason but they deploy on unlock, and when a doors opened, also the programming procedure obviously can't be done with no ignition 2018 Suzuki Jimny 2003 written off

Now I feel better at paying to get these supplied and fitted, where the technically able seem to struggle. I would have no chance Very Happy Geoff

Mine fitted ok, straight forward following the instructions, took me longer than 2.5 hrs Land Rover say it takes, and they have 2 year warranty from LR. SC 4.2, 2012 face lifted, 25K miles, 1 previous owner

Yeah it was a pretty big job, took me about 4 hours but a chap came and remapped the ff and a golf in that time, how did you got about programming the switch 87rjd? Also with your wiring loom did you have two plugs which didn't connect ton anything? Close to the fuse box area?

Hi
The two plugs near the fuse box on the new loom should be used, on a 2007 anyway. One plugs into the box under the fuse box, and the original plug that pluged into the box plugs in the other plug on the new loom. You will find the overhead button then works without any need to program anything. Hopefully this makes sense. SC 4.2, 2012 face lifted, 25K miles, 1 previous owner

Yep I'm pretty sure I did those you're on about, you unplug one from the metal ecu looking thing, plug one in from the loom to the ecu and the other which originally came from the ecu into the loom?
The two I'm talking about are small white connectors maybe half inch connectors?
Did you literally just plug it all in without trying to program or push and hold any buttons? 2018 Suzuki Jimny 2003 written off

No spare wires or plugs on the loom I had for my car, it had a label showing it was for My07, so I know it was the right one. Followed the sequence with the ignition key and button to enable/disable, and to deploy both step so you can stand on them to clean the roof.
I did find a rocker in the drivers foot well above the brake pedal that I've not noticed before, looks standard (nothing to do with steps) just having a look in hand book to see what its for SC 4.2, 2012 face lifted, 25K miles, 1 previous owner

Ah fair enough, I miss read your car details, thought it was 2012 👍🏼
I'll take of the kick plate under the fuse box and get a photo, and again I thought you had a push button start rather than a key ignition 2018 Suzuki Jimny 2003 written off
