Some folks have lost, or been left with impaired, rain sensor function after a windscreen has been replaced with a non-OE version. Is yours the original screen? 2006MY 4.2 SC

Yeah still the original..wonder if the iid tool can reset it? I've read its a job for jlr as it needs done by test book..if so at least I know I can unplug it and I will have the intermittent function again |

Just double checked fuse..you are correct matey its 5amp (f41) also does the rear wiper ecu...anyhoo..pulled it and refitted it and I now have a working rain sensor The rear wiper was working fine so don't understand how the rain sensor had been playing up? Another job ticked off the big list. |
