Touch Screen Not Operating

I hope you can give me some pointers for this issue.

All touch screen operation has stopped. No sat nav, stereo etc etc. All that happens is the power switch flashes, and the Land Rover logo is displayed. Before taking the vehicle somewhere I would appreciate a pointer from the panel as to what may be wrong.

Its a March 2006 Vogue.
