It is possible to get them out with a pair of long nose pliers if you are stuck, just takes a few goes to get enough purchase on the thin edge of the screw head. I always swap them for standard head screws, they only go into plastic so self tappers do the job. All Bosch mafs seem to be the same, never understood why security screws are needed.

Thanks for your replies.Just wanted to ensure that i can separate maf sensor from body.Believe will manage to find a way to to do it even by damaging screws head which i will substitute with a more common type. |

Finally maf removed without damaging screws.Needed tool 5 sided security torx/star instead of the usual one with 6 edges? |
