VEHICLE INTERIOR
1 Reset the Service Interval Indicator.
2 Check operation of parking brake.
3 Check operation of all lamps, horns and warning
indicators.
4 Check operation of front/rear wipers and washers and
condition of wiper blades.
5 Check condition and security of seats and seat belts.
6 Replace airbag SRS and seat belt pre-tensioners*.
(every 15 years)
VEHICLE EXTERIOR
7 Remove road wheels.
8 Check brake pads for wear, calipers for leaks and
discs for condition.
9 Grease wheel centre surfaces.
10 Check tyres pressures, and adjust if necessary.
11 Check tyres for damage, condition and tread depth.
12 Replace road wheels.
13 Apply silicone spray to top edge of door seals.
UNDER BONNET
14 Check battery condition.
15 Replace pollen filter.
16 Check condition of ancillary drive belt.
17 Check/top up brake, PAS and screen washer fluid
levels.
18 Replace brake fluid every 3 years*.
19 Check coolant level, change coolant every 4 years*.
UNDER VEHICLE
20 Replace engine oil and filter.
21 Check all powertrain components for fluid leaks.
22 Check steering components for security and wear.
23 Check suspension fixings.
24 Check brake, fuel, PAS and suspension pipes and
connections for security, leakage, corrosion and
possible chafing.
ANTI - CORROSION CHECK LIST
25 Visually check the underbody sealer for damage (pay
particular attention to areas of apparent repair).
Using an inspection lamp, check for corrosion/damaged
underbody sealer on:
26 Sills and wheel arches.
27 Main floor.
28 Subframe.
29 Areas adjacent to suspension mounting and fuel tank
fixings.
NOTE: Small blisters in the PVC underbody sealer are
acceptable providing they do not reveal bare metal.
30 Inspect an report, exterior paintwork for damage and
body panels for corrosion (pay particular attention to
areas of apparent repair).
Visually check for evidence of damage and corrosion on
all paint finished areas particularly:
31 Front edge of bonnet.
32 Lower body and door panels.
33 Check visible flanges in engine and luggage
compartments.
34 Check clinched edges and hinge areas of bonnet.
35 Remove interior vehicle protection kit.
