Thanks for that Stan, my main question was really is it imperative to have the lr battery over a non genuine one. |

Get a varta or similar. 110 cranks or amps or whatever. Should be c.£100-120. |

Just speaking WITHOUT being an expert but I can't imagine Land Rover have a battery factory making faculty so you would have to assume that they buy their batteries from someone that does. If you follow that logic then obviously LR will be adding a profit margin onto their cost price While I respect others choice to stick with OEM , I personally buy OEM quality and not manufacturers ' genuine parts ' whenever possible.
