new pads and discs...

My fattys been in my garage very nearly 2 months..start it up nearly every other day whilst I'm working in it...ive now noticed when I move it back and forward the brakes are making a god awful noise, presumably from lack of use...cars going back on the road shortly so planning on replacing discs and pads..I have 22 inch overfinch wheelks and my question is basically am I restricted in any way in terms of the make if discs/pads I can use....?

Second question is can anybody recomend a decent brand of pads /discs ...thanks

Standard problem on any vehicle not moved for a while, just drive it and after a few mins the brakes will have cleaned themselves off... then inspect and see if they need replacing, no point changing them if they don't need it...

Genuine parts work very well without squealing, some aftermaket parts do squeal...

I've got EBC and they are fine on mine... Thumbs Up Pete
