No central locking after mirror repair

When I first bought my L322 (53 plate 4.4 Vogue) I was aware that the passenger wing mirror would not fold in on the button and would flap around if moved by hand.

On Friday I had chance to get the tools out and investigate further and on removing the cap on the bottom of the mirror I found two wires had snapped off. I set about removing the door card and trim to remove the mirror so I could strip the mirror down and solder the wires back together.

I reassembled the door put everything back together and tried the mirror and still nothing happened, so assumed I have bigger problem than just a broken wire. I had to run an errand, so I go to lock the car and noticed the central locking on the passenger door wasn't working. This was working prior to my mirror 'repair'.

Today I've been out with a multi meter and it appears I have no power going to the central locking on that door I've checked the earth and had continuity to the earth point in the passengers footwell. However, when the car is being locked or unlocked via the remote there was no voltage registering on any of the other wires in the central locking plug.

I'm wondering if I've shorted something out by reconnecting the mirror wires or even blown a fuse somewhere in the car any help or advice would be greatly appreciated at this point.

I have done a battery reset on it and still the same, I have pulled about four fuses in the glove box to check them and they all seem ok.

Is that the glove box fuse board or another one in the car?

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Zermatt Silver

When I replaced the drivers side door handle cable on mine driver door central locking wouldnt work after I'd put it all back together. After much checking of fuses, battery resetting, swearing etc it was simply that I'd not fully pushed home one of the connectors in the door card. Not sure how much you had to dismantle, but if all else fails its got to be worth checking.... 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

I have had the door card off three times now but will be out there tomorrow trying fuses and giving all the connections an extra tweak I'm getting close to turning the air blue.

Well after a lot of swearing and testing of various wires and components mine also turned out to be a bad contact on the white plug going into the door card.

There's a little grey lock that pulls the plug in and locks it in place but this was stopping the plug from making a connection. I removed this from the white plug, pushed it in tight and everything's back to life.

Except my mirror which is why I took the door card off in the first place. Big Cry
