I know that your getting the EAS Inactive message, is this every time you turn the key, and do you manage to get anything from the pump?

Only now you've changed the pump, have you tried going from full lock to full lock and back again? this resets the EAS, with the engine running...... there is a correct way to do this reset, but I can never remember which way to turn the wheel first, so I just go lock to lock to lock works for me

There is also the battery disconnect, touch terminals and reconnect this may also help, never tried it myself, I've always managed to clear the faults with some steering wheel action

I'd then be looking at the sender on the tank followed by the rear valve block.... that would appear to be where the trouble is coming from. But it's strange that it was, all be it shortly, working to a fashion and now refuses to do anything even though you've changed the pump...... Could even be a dirty connection, there were a few posts say that a good clean up underneath was all that was needed  Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Yeah getting the air suspension inactive everytime I turn key .did the old steering wheel reset trick as well. Going to disconnect battery after work as cars gave me more faults after I unplugged old compressor (ecu fault and a compressor exhaust one) not bothered about them as that's happened before after compressor disconnection..

So today I will double check compressors plugged in correctly Battery reset plus I've just received a new relay which I will change..old one seems fine but worth a try with a renewal..if all fails then its a matter if getting under it at the weekend and check connections and give it a clean..failing that I will renew sender then valve block....only a matter if time before I crack it hahaha

Haha I'm here for good my friend..finally got a l322 so the invaluable advice will save me a few bob I've already learnt how the eas works and how to fault find..also fixed my unretractable mirrors and reprogrammed my key fob...great forum and some great posters as well...thanks again for the pointers

Success! Kind of unplugged compressor to check connections..Did the old battery reset.fitted second new relay ..jumps in car and starts her up..did the steering wheel reset then cleared 5 new faults then new compressor kicks in..nothing for a while but the eas message on dash doesn't reappear...then notice rear ends level and car has managed to get to access height...turn dial and car starts lifting! Getting excited now lol...car then reaches height and stops and.light stops flashing..able to lock both access and driving heights with the controls..then try's off road.cars able to reach height but wont lock after getting there...then get eas message saying compressor temp static!!

Resets fault with I carsoft and resume the up and down game...car now goes to off-road quickly but wont lock??? Apart from that zero faults ...very nearly there

Should it lock in off road though? - I've only locked mine in access height.

When in off road it auto drops to normal if you go over a specific speed - (25mph?) Not sure Land Rover would want amy one to get around that one..

Good point! My first l332 so still unsure..now to keep an eye on the air bags and hopefully no leaks then that's my first job a success...appreciate all the help especially miggits

next job squirty bottle full of fairy liquid / water mix and spray away to look for any leaks.... Fyi off road position is the best for access... and when you say you cant get the off road to lock... are we talking the lock light in the middle of the switch as opposed to the high indicator that flashes as the car rises? As long as the flashing light goes solid ( can take a while for it to settle ) all should be good  Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Yeah that's the one..understand now how it wont lock haha...I noticed I can see the bags whilst its on off road height...i take it its just a matter of spraying away and being patient watching? Honestly delighted right now

I will say that in off road mode with the engine off you should be able to hear if there's anything amiss, I found that my front air bags were made Tetley I didn't need any fairy liquid... it sounded like a pit full of angry vipers  Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
