I have an annoying scratch on the driver window of the TDV8 that is circular in appearance and can be felt with your nail.

Anybody have any genius tricks for getting scratches out of glass - hopeful I know

There are pro companies out there top google result is these guys http://www.scratchglass.com/ but cost may be prohibitive. Is the scratch on the inside or outside of the glass?

I believe I can call into play my Caveat: "~but cost may be prohibitive." 

I have a drivers side window glass just lying around in my garage. I had to get a new one quickly earlier in the year as it wouldn't raise properly and I stupidly thought that it would be covered under the extended warranty. Of course I was wrong and glass was a specific exclusion. But the glass is OK! One of the bottom grips that attach to the bottom of the glass and to the winding mechanism had failed, specifically the adhesive had failed.

After it was replaced I asked for the glass back so I could fight the warranty refusal. I got nowhere, of course.

Apparently, the adhesive is commonly used by double glazing manufacturers. So should be easily sourced. Would be a simple job once the old adhesive is cleaned off of the grip and glass. The clip is only about 3" long or so.
