Width

Why when you look at the specs of the l322 doe it say 2009-2012 is 5inches wider than the earlier l322 - what's different? When I face lifted the bumper was no wider ?

dunno where you've got that info from as the 2006-2012 is only 25mm wider [with mirrors] than the 2002-2005 years.. ... - .- -.

That was on Wikipedia - so where is that extra width you mention just mirrors?

with mirrors folded or not , theres still 25mm [0.9 inch] difference.. info from topix. ... - .- -.

Could it be the track width being wider on the later models due to different wheel offset. Really don't see the bodyshell being an inch wider. V8 or else ...
