Just thought, it might be nice to have a "good" list and also an "avoid" list.

Have stayed on the CC site near cheshire oaks, was dead handy for Liverpool and port sunlight too. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Highfield Farm Touring Park in Comberton, near Cambridge is very pleasant. It is a quiet, family run site and the fields are quite large with caravans around the perimeter. It closes for winter though.

Try Broadings Farm camp site in Whitby. We have stayed there during CCC rallies a number of times recently but the rest of the site looks good. Easy to get to, nice views across the bay to the Abbey ruins and a very good restaurant 10 mins walk away - not to mention that Whitby has the best chippies in the world. QUID FACIUM TIBI

Now there's an idea, done north wales loads over the years but never ventured west of Cardiff in the south. Pembroke and the Gower are a good call. Will look into that for the spring! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
