Open the lower glove box, and on the left side of the open glove box is a guide/stop, push it towards to the right and lower the glove box, behind it is a panel with a cover, two tabs hold it closed Dave

Thanks! Any idea where/how I can safely ground a wire in or around the glove box/fuse box area? |

HA! That's the same dashcam I'm trying to install. Is that bolt easy to get to? I remember quickly looking in there and couldn't find a screw/bolt that was easy to unscrew and screw |

Once you have the cover off, its top right, the one with the blue sleeve, bear in mind mines right hand drive

How did you test or verify that a fuse slot is either permanent live/always on/batt or powered on with key/acc? |

No disrespect, but judging by the questions i think it would be safer if you go an auto electrician to install your dash cam mate Dave

I understand and appreciate your honesty, but I'm a lifelong tinkerer - this challenge is part of the fun. I think this is more of the case where I have the skill set, but misplaced a tool.
