KVM-replacement (Q606)

Dropped my MY16 at the local JLR garage this morning for the KVM-module replacement and after a couple of hours of waiting it turned out that they cannot start the car with the new nor the old module.

I had understood that the KVM vulnerabilities were sorted for MY16, but apparently it is not the case.

Tomorrow we're supposed to hit the road to UK, so may have to consider taking the other car... Sad

Anybody else with similar experience?

Mine has gone in today for its first service and replacement of the KVM. They asked for both keys and am hoping they will return it later today. Will keep my fingers crossed!

It is running again with the new KVM Smile

They explained that the update is done on-line and perturbations with the internet connection can mess it up.

Also refilled the Adblue reservoir (13 l) so good for another 18 tkm or so..
