Mercedes Sprinter Bottle Jack

Hi all,
Can you tell me if there are different versions of the Mercedes Sprinter and therefore possibly different versions of the bottle jack. If so, what year sprinter do I need to get the Bottle Jack from or alternatively does anyone have the spec on the right one ie length etc

Thanks

I couldn't swear there were differences but can't imagine why there would be....they still have to extend enough to raise the van.

Like this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRAND-NEW-Merced...Swxg5Xzn9j

and this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Mercedes-Spr...SwGXtXh2Q4

they are made by Weber and exactly what I bought for the FF.

Thanks for links,
Any chance you could throw a tape on it from the bottom to the top shoulder of the main body.

My jack has been modified so the dimensions will be different. I removed the top saddle and fitted an aluminium jack pad for a new Mini which sits flush on the RR jack points.

There is a thread how to do this on here (and probably a WIKI link). The jack fitted comfortably in with the spare wheel pre and post modification.....I wrap it in a length of cloth to stop rattling. I think there is/was even parts for the mod on sale in the forum shop.

I'm sure one of those seller will give you exact measurements if you ask or you could find the equivalent on the Weber site.

I think they are both the same, here's mine in action as I changed the wheels earlier today.

Cheers,
Must say, really impressed with the height these extend to. In your pic, top ram is just starting and wheel is off the ground. I picked one up yesterday in breakers for €20 so looking forward to trying it out. Did you do any mods / trimming to the top fitting on yours or are you using it as standard.

For €20 Whistle

read this.....
http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic14177....i+jack+pad

and go to ebay, and get yourself an aluminium 'mini jack pad adaptor'
you will find paople selling them for up to about £25. however, search for similar worded phrase, and you will find an aluminium one for about £9 you just modify it to fit the top of the ram, and fit the pin. i only had to drill the 6 mm hole (in new pad) and knock out the old pin, and replace with the ally pad.
these are typically used, on a trolley jack, to convert the steel cup to the rectangle hole in the sill.
the jack works well. just tape the poles together, as they want to roll/slide out of the bag.

I'm looking for one of these too. Sprinter trucks are not too common here. Did the Sprinter van get the same jack?

Does a sprinter jack modified like this fit under the jacking point when the tyre is fully flat (punctured?)

*I tried mine today at normal height (no flat tyre though) and there is loads of room to spare so it would certainly fit under easily in off-road height with a flat tyre. Declan

Thanks for that Declan.
Do you know of anywhere that sells the aluminium top ready drilled to just replace the standard top?
