I don't use or have a caravan and the program wasn't a great advert, although I must say I liked both the Eriba and the Pod. Geoff

Rolling with laughter I like the start of the sentence Geoff "I don't use or have a caravan...." You don't need to justify things Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

I was hoping the program would persuade me to get one (SWMBO is dead against but then again I've never had her in my tent - I'm not sure that came out as I intended Rolling with laughter )

So as I'm likely to be solo, the Pod and the Puck seem to be the ones for me so I'll rephrase "I don't currently own or use a caravan" Very Happy Geoff

My attempts at buying have been frustrated by the price - are there cheaper options? Geoff

second had 2 berths are light and easy to tow, and a lot cheaper than either an Eriba or a pod Thumbs Up though a second hand eribas aren't that bad money wise, £6-7k should get you a serviceable one from the 1990's, whereas a full height 2 berth van from the late 2000's will be around the same money. something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2009-Elddis-Crus...Sw6wRW~uTh There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

There really are very few "cult" caravans. Like most I am a mainstream tintenter and tow a Lunar. A friend's parents have 2 eriba puck's. They are lovely little things and very easy to tow, use and store. They are in the process of buying a T@b from a seller in Norway. A puck holds it's money though and it's normal to see 10 year old ones for £6-9k.

Options include; travel lodge, premier inn and if you're in france...Formule 1 !!! Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Wow, caravaning looks a bit too much for me, parties, pink hats, karaoke, half naked bar boys etc etc. And they were in Preston just down the road. Wow!

I'm sure it's not like that in real life Very Happy Geoff

Can't wait for the Xmas edition because we were on site when it was filmed and our van will probably be in the background.

Watched it for the first time last night .... What utter tripe !!
But to be honest, there's some very strange people go caravaning Rolling Eyes

I like the blokes that usually engage you in conversation when your emptying the toilet cassette, they look around furtively, as though they're about to deal you drugs, and ask you something like "how does she pull" nodding across to where your ff is parked.
Normally followed by " a bit thirsty aren't they?"

Classic Laughing

For a non-caravanner Geoff you're doing a lot of viewing on this programme....I can't bring myself to watch it..... Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........
