I don't know if this trick will work on Rangies (those with a conventional handbrake) but it works on our 2009 Subaru Forester.

the last official nav disc landrover produced was a 2011 one....any 2014 disc [like yours] will be a pirated hybrid/subaru disc ..............

Great to hear about yet another use for the IID. I thought the "hack" only worked with the oldest of the L332s.

I've done this on my 2007, and I agree 100% with John that you must take your time and follow all the steps carefully. Initially I didn't and I got into bothers, but (not for the first time) Pat from GAP got involved and corrected my mistakes.
