2004 Vogue ex 10-pin alpine now finally playing mp3 from usb and line-in, with bluetooth capability if required, simply plug in the available module. also now got a massive glovebox. i used a Yatour emulator in place of the cd changer, playing thru a small pre-amp (adjustable) to bring the Yatour's infamous low volume up to that of the stock fm radio level. Done for £60. Also replaced the ciggy lighter with a USB/Line in extension. Looks stock and plays great thru stock head unit/ BM54. Displays tag info too. Bit of tidying to do on the wiring, will hide it behind glovebox. Tackling the analogue to digtal tv mod next... pics in my gallery

Hi, used a YTM06-(BMW4), 3 and 6 pin, clipped and soldered connections, could not find a 10 pin yatour for BMW, left unclipped wires and plug on loom for reconnection if needed when selling car. the amp is from Autoleads. all sourced from a well known on-line auction site. Works without the amp, but the volume has to be near max on head unit, scares you when you flip to fm radio! My car has DSP, Non HK. NON digital, has older Navigation, still works, but hey! i use my phone for Nav. Steering wheel controls all work as they did with cd changer, even track number shows in message centre LCD.. |
