Parking Sensor Problem

I kept getting problems with water appearing affecting one of the rear sensors. bought a new sensor but when fitted problem it went to a continuous Bleeping. Inspected all the wiring and could not find any problems with it. Took out the wiring loom and checked for continuity all the way back to the PDC with every wire to the PDC. unit that's behind the fuses in the Right hand quarter of the boot. Every thing checked out OK. Took out the loom, fiited the Sensors and lined them all like sparrows on the boot looking at the sky. Still the same on the IID tool the figures on the outer sensors read 255 but the two centre inner sensors are floating between 46 and 255 and bleeping like merry H. Have I missed any thing? or should I go and get a replacement PDC unit. Range Rover Classic 1989

It's usually the loom that gets, frayed/corroded/broken... very common, not much money from Dan at Duckworths, our site sponsor... Thumbs Up Pete

Thanks for the reply, i did a 100% continuity check on all the sensors back to the Plug on the PDC. and got a 100% OK. The loom generally looks in good condition so I am not now looking at that yet as a culprit. Range Rover Classic 1989
