United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Zambezi Silver
Rovers return

Former RRS owner, became FF owner 4 months ago - but that one has gone to scrappy in heaven, see below! So I now have a 5yr old TDV8 VSE.

Thought I'd add the old FF photo! Will add the new one when detailed.

United States 2012 Range Rover HSE 5.0 V8 Stornoway Grey

New here from CA. I recently picked up a nicely loaded '12 HSE and after sorting out some glitches, I've been in love with it. I joined primarily to learn about doing the paddle shift mod.

Just joined

Hi All,

Just joined the forum having recently bought my first RR. What a superb bit of kit! Very Happy
The only (very minor) disappointment IMO is the slightly clunky ICE/Nav system which apparently cannot be 'independently' updated, and the lack of ICE menu/info integration in LCD instrument cluster. However, these are mere trivialities when the rest of the car is so impressive! Smile

I bought some Thule roof racks (Footpack 754, Wingbar 963, Kit 1274) from notheastroofracks.co.uk and have been really pleased with them; highly recommended!

Planned enhancements: Detachable OEM spec towbar (PF Jones); and maybe some DRL/fog lights (powerfuluk.com) but not sure whether to go with the Osrams, or the 9-LED V1 type.

Thanks for the excellent site - great to see so many people posting tips, tricks and DIY pics.

All the best.

Hi, obviously I'm new!

Hi all,

I'm Pete. Long time reader etc etc you know the patter.

I'm looking at getting at getting another RR after previously having my dads old classic and p38 cast offs because I just can't shift that bug....once bitten etc.

I have been reading to the point of passing out at the keyboard and all the text is turning into a knitting pattern!
I've picked up on loads of good advice, what a brilliant site and amussing too Smile

I slowly whittled my choice down to a TDV8 and then down further to the 4.4 TDV8.
Looking at prices on auto trader though, if I stretch my search too much further I may find that SWMBO will be applying a wake up call via a swift kick to the nether regions!

Is 100k to 120k too much on a 2011 car? I suspect I need to post that question else where but just chucking it out there in my intro.

Thanks muchly.

United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Java Black

Hi All

My name is Mat. I used to have a Disco 3 then I reached that point in life where I needed a change so I bought a Mitsubishi Evo. I'm currently selling this and hoping to purchase a Range Rover with the funds. I looked at a couple but haven't found the right one yet.

Hi All,
After years of wanting a Range Rover I've finally decided now's the time to get one. I've been browsing the forum for a couple of days and I've been delighted and amazed at the sheer depth and quality of the info to be found here.

I've started looking for an 06 petrol V8 (that's when LR changed to the Jag-derived 4.4 with the 6-speed box, right?).

Looking forward to ownership and getting to know you guys.

Cheers,
Chris
