Door mirrors don't dip when reversing.....

The owners handbook says my door mirrors should dip when reverse is selected. They've never done this since I had the car a few weeks ago and I thought it was just a setting.

Now I have my IID tool I have checked and the CCF says the dipping mirrors should be enabled.

Any thoughts? Am I doing something wrong?

There are two buttons and they don't have an effect on the mirrors when reversing. Sad

One is a slider to select right or left mirror for adjustment, the other is just a push button which manually folds the mirrors in/out. Confused 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey

If you put the mirror selector switch to the left , when you reverse the mirror will dip 2015 4.4 AB

It can be turned on and off in the vehicle settings menu on the tft dash! Use the right hand control on the steering wheel to navigate the menu 2006 RR sport HSE

Earlier cars were controlled by the sliding selector switch for the mirror adjuster - and only the passenger side dipped

On a 2012, both mirrors dip - as above, the mirror dip function is controlled from the steering wheel button going into the settings menu in between the speedo and rev counter.
