that TFC problem of yours is the potentiometer inside the transfercase shift motor. Unfortunately those gizmos are not available loose, so you will have to bite the bullet and buy a new motor. You can source from LRParts Direct or OEM.

Only just joined the forum, just read this thread start to finish. Fantastic work, great to see somebody modifying a car like this rather than just trading up.
