i've been reading on the RRS about putting 2 stoke into a tankful of diesel..they claim cleaner and smoother engine running ..anyone tried this? ... - .- -.

I add a bottle of Forte Diesel treatment every now and then just to keep it all clean. |

I have heard that using such products can lead to excessive wear of some part or other so be careful.... |

I'm pretty sure that modern diesel contains the right amount of cleaning additives etc. Remember that the actual fuel system contains a lot of seals and devices which only expect proper diesel - hence LR even saying that veg oil (SVO which can be used in the old 200/300 Tdi's with no issue) should NOT be used.
