Range Rover TDV8 2007 SatNavUnit & Update

Hi, i have some questions:
1- my dvd gps unit is very very hot. burning even without DVD (original or copy) added.
i use a copy because of the heat the disc flexes and line.
is my unit broken ??

2- Is possible to change my dvd unit with a ssd disk ?

3- Is possible change original monitor unit with a 2 din android ?

Thanks

Is it getting hotter - it was only very very hot in the original post Whistle

It sounds like theres something wrong with it - it may get warm but not hot.

show me the power connector? I try to disconnect it for a while 'and then hang up.
I can let it without power? blocks other functions?

I could leave it unplugged and get a garmin

It should be possible to disconnect the dvd and then bridge the MOST fibre optic cable using the bic biro method to take it out of the loop. I think. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

There is no fibre optic loop on DVD it is just fibre in, not out, it is a spur. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE
