2010 Locked Screen

I have a locked screen - On-Off button flashing orange ans "RANGE ROVER" permantently on the screen.

I suspect that it was a blue tooth problem as my son was trying to connect his phone to the car at the time. The screen then shut down and now wont come back on normally.

I read on here that you need to by pass the Bluetooth received in the boot. Is that still the answer?

Thanks

I'd check the Bluetooth module for water ingress. If you remove the passenger side boot side then the Bluetooth module us the blue thing on top.

Mine behaved the same way and since I didn't use it that much I simply removed it and bypassed it with a Biro. Ed

Guys,

Happy to report that the problem is fixed as a result of Stans battery disconnection. I only got as far as the first step, disconnecting the earth lead but adhering to the time intervals, and reconnecting it, as I wasn't sure how to proceed....Thankfully that did the trick so it's all working now.

Thanks again Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
