BCM FAULTY?

Evening all
New to site now on second ffrr got some elec gremlins i'm thinking bcm at fault anyone had the same the list
1. 8 out of 10 ish times rear passenger doors dont unlock with fob wait a few mins and unlock okay
2,When started steering stiff ignition off restart okay
3.Press heated screen button and air con comes on 9 out of 10 times
4.No power to cd changer
Think that's about it for now
RR is 04 plate vogue been standing about 12 months and all okay before i'm told
Are bcm interchangeable or can I fit second hand to eliminate.

Some of those problems are certainly known issues with a failing BCM or more accurately if you are buying a new one, Body Processor Module . A new one will have to be coded to the vehicle with a diagnostic tool such a iiD Tool or Fault Mate Extreme.
I did mine a month or so back when my steering went stiff . 2008 MY Supercharged
Rimini Red / Jet
four zone climate
remote park heater
and no ugly kid windows.

Thanks for that seems to be conflict of interest as to wether second hand one of same year spec etc will just plug and play just to confirm faults.

Can anyone advise if cd changer is powered through bcm and also heated front screen etc ?

If you fit a second hand one you will get a black dot in your odometer saying the milage has been tampered with .
The heated screens are controlled by the HEVAC ECU according to my iiDTool because that is where I find them to diagnose .I couldn't even guess about the CD players power but it would seem strange to come off the BPM. 2008 MY Supercharged
