Blue tooth telephone module upgrade

Morning All,

I have a FFRR 3.6 TDV8 that I brought about a month ago - superb car - save for the Bluetooth.

I have had some email exchanges and understand that there is a newer unit about that will store the pairing info and contact numbers but that it needs a wire or two added to instal it, and therein lies the problem, wiring and I are not the best of friends.

Does anyone know where i could get one installed or has done one previously - I dont mind paying, its just that I spend a lot of time in the car and the blue tooth needs sorting.

Cheers

Mick

I'm sure a local member will be able to help, it really doesn't take long, the longest part is getting the correct two power cables out of he old loom and into a suitable connector and then mounting the new unit. Personally I used electrical tape to secure it down and haven't had any issue with it since as its been the best upgrade other than the audio upgrade I did 😊👍 FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

You can try a flash update performed on your existing module first... May not need replacing???

I spend to much time in the car that I need this Bluetooth to be right, driving along with Apple headphones in just seems wrong in a RR.

I have arranged a clandestine meeting at 06:45 Friday morning Very Happy Very Happy when the Guru will fix the same. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE

I've done the firmware update and then the replacement from the later Range Rover/discos.

Speaking from experience it's better to do the job once and do the straight move instead of just doing the firmware update Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Just to say that Bluetooth exchange came out as expected at silly o'clock in the morning and a nicer chap you could not hope to meet, very quick installation and very very knowledgeable, I am sure you all know this already, but just passing on my gratitude to a great guy.

Thankyou Sir 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE
