Staying off topic......

My family were big 'supporters' of British cars and during my childhood we had the following rot boxes

Riley 4/72 (a posh Austin Cambridge)
Marina 1.3 coupe in poverty spec
Maxi 1500
Viva HC (given to me when I passed my test)

Dad had some tasty company cars mind:
Rover P6 2200
Rover P6 3500S
Triumph 2000
2 x Rover SD1 3500 (I got to drive both as his chauffer in my summer holidays from Poly)

Then he started getting Range Rovers and that started me off on the road to where we are all now.......

My dad had a Marina 1.8 tc when i was a kid. TWA900L in beige with a brown vinyl roof. Was fab, but in summer if you sat on the seats with shorts on it looked like you had come out in pimples Mr. Green
