Why are you ashamed to be British, if your referring to the press in regards to posters and cards and comments made all I would say is people are entitled to an opinion and don't let it get to you they are a minority after all.

Me I just read and get on with life and not worry about it or anything that's printed but...........

No smoke without fire as they say. Range Rover quotes.....

The Luxury Thats More Than a Luxury.
Conquer the world, and look good doing it.
Built for the unexpected.
Over prepared, but never underdressed.

Very true, Alan.

But the Dolomite had a lovely interior with rosewood dash and door cappings. I towed a caravan to Austria and back with mine. Shocked

England 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Bonatti Grey

I had a dolomite 1850 with overdrive, iirc they had a sensor that auto dimmed the rear lights, but aside they were rust buckets.
I remember doing a decoke, that alloy head and steel studs, took me a week to get it off, then needed welding and skimming .
those were the days Laughing

I must confess to never having had a Morris Marina. Embarassed And I had to google it. (Unfortunately, Google provided images. Shocked )

But who knows? They may start making them again. After all, JLR is foreign owned and their cars are full of nasty foreign parts (the ZF transmissions are German, and the TD6 GM unit must must be made in France as everyone says it's made of cheese and no one does cheese as well as the French). I'll bet the MM can be made with 100% locally sourced parts. Mr. Green

The Viva was better built than the Marina, so yes, I guess it counts. Just waiting for someone to come along with the obligatory Dagenham Dustbin now. Laughing

Or worse still, an Allaggro complete with it's square, sorry, 'Quartic' steering wheel. Rolling with laughter

Come on guys, this car addiction of yours isn't funny, in the mean time drf in the south east of the Island, might have commited suicide. You should be more caring for our forum members. Come on drf tell us what is wrong, can we help you?

Had a dolomite, bloody thing attacked my wife, the accelerator cables used to frees rock solid in their housing ( yes in winter only), was an automatic and car didn't slow down, approaching a crossing. Anyone else stopped for this blond racing on in her dolomite, untill she had the courage to switch the engine off, then the powerbrakes and powersteering went a sleep, but my wife managed to stop the car just before driving into one of our famous canals. This is not a made up story, they were great cars when they were parked. Evil or Very Mad
