Not heard of this but it could be your loose Brake shields (again) |

Definately not its more of a clonk from under the car either engine or trans you can feel it. It happens sometimes if you accelerate hard from standstill and stop fast from speed... |

Front suspension bushes will definitely give uou a clunk on hard acceleration or breaking, I had it on mine, see here http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic37271-15.html Declan

On other cars I have had failed engine mounts/dampers clunk when accelerating or braking.
