Passed it's mot today no advisories. Probably because I took it to look at a 4.2sc and told it that was its replacement should it be a costly mot failure.

Took it for a run to Ludlow and back ( 180 miles ) saw a figure of 33.5 appear in the consumption box ? If even remotely true, more than happy. Nice day out except for the gobs@@@@ bikers who appear in your rear view mirror from nowhere before zooming in front of you and stealing the safety zone you've left between you and the vehicle in front.

finally got shut of the rear tints.

Before:

After:

Worst part was getting shut of the adhesive after removing the film. A good soaking with petrol and finished off with brake cleaner finally sorted it. Hardest part was removing the rear door opening windows as you can't get to part of the glass for the window rubbers.

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Giverny Green

Spent the weekend living in it whilst doing a 24 hour kart race in Teesside. I'm not that tall, so there's just enough length for me to stretch out whilst laying slightly diagonally between piles of all my stuff.

Other than needing a thicker ground mat to disguise the ridges in the boot liner, I cant fault it - and it was much quiter and more waterproof than the other drivers' tents!
My only slight hiccup was realising that, unlike my Discovery 2 which had rear door handle inside, you can't open the boot when you shut yourself in, and I had to exit through the rear door over my pile of pillows. I did have a slight panic moment when I thought I was shut in and trapped! Laughing
