I am trying to arrange a special surprise for my son. He has his prom in June and he is a Ferrari nut. I wanted to arrange a lift for him to the prom in a Ferrari.

I own another kind of prancing horse, but on the forum I use for mine there is much discussion about prom use and insurance and Police inspectors present.

Well You live and learn. When I finished school after O levels, all my mates and me stuffed our books into our blazers and set light to them on the playing field. No end of school disco. Why do we have to import such naff Americana?? Don't even get me started on Fathers Day, which didn't exist when I was a nipper. Another American inventio we appear to have adopted. |

Not quite an evening - it's basically a one way mini-cab ride. Mine were both happy to be taken in the FFRR - for my daughters I roped in my mate who also had a black one & we took 6 of her mates - we pulled up side by side & got out chauffeur style to open their doors. |

Primary school 'proms' are all the thing now. Here's my lad 2 years back at his primary school prom. Bear in mind he's from an era of Playstation's and as much as he loves his supercars my mates 900bhp GTR was what he really, really wanted to arrive in
