Friggin fuel guard that is on my Jag XJ every time i insert the diesel nozzle it triggers it all the time , i have tried holding the nozzle away slightly even upside down but within seconds it activates the lock .. major PITA ... Can this be removed via a garage ... Always got to get the key out the boot to de activate it ...

Wouldnt say its broken Eugene just over sensitive ... Would rather get it taken out than replaced |

It can be replaced Mick. I had SWMBO's XF done under warranty for the same thing. So, if it can be replaced it must be the case that it can just be removed and not replaced. I'd bet strong money the part is identical too.
