I can confirm the transmission did hold up and it was in low range as it was me driving my old RR . It suprised me how well it did, it doesn't really show it on the video but its also on an incline.

We knew a Motorway Traffic cop some while ago and he was telling us about an incident on the M6 around Birmingham where a car had slip down an embankment in the snow and a passing motorist in a Mitsubishi Shogun had tried to pull him out and also slid part way down the slope.

Great advert for the Fattie, but I very much doubt the truck was anywhere near 40 tons. Most high street chains are plated upto 32 ton tops. 2004 vogue

I have pulled 2 or 3, 5 tonne diggers that had been bogged down out of fields. I was on tarmac and the FF danced around but always got them out, gearbox fine (so far) only been stuck once when the classic had to recover it from mud, my fault |
