i'm going to fit some drls shortly and would like to know if there's an ignition feed and a headlight [dip] feed easily located in the engine bay..

my initial thought was to take the headlight socket off and use a multimeter to find the feeds [as i did on my 2008 SC] but i'm hoping someone will have the info to hand.. ... - .- -.

I may be missing something here but if you have a GAP tool why don't you just turn on the DRL's (I'm assuming you have one).

@kev, i have a iidtool and have indeed turned on the drls but they are not very bright hence me wanting to replace the existing fogs with drls.....

i have now found a feed from the fuse box in the engine bay and also a dipped headlight feed and am now waiting for some drl units to arrive.. ... - .- -.

i've fitted the drls and have them working ok with a headlight feed switch off function, the only concern is the ignition feed i have from the engine fusebox keeps the drls on for about 15 seconds after i lock the FF, good for 'follow me home' lights but nevertheless a bit disconcerting ...

what i really need is an ignition feed that switch's off when the engine is off....more investigation me thinks.. ... - .- -.

Whats the issue with the 15 sec overlap Stan? Mine was like that for 2yrs and i quite enjoyed members of the public debating with themselves weather to tell you or not your lights were still on

As they are LED they don’t take any power anyhow pal

its un-nerving Craig but you're right they are low power leds so no battery drain ...

its just that until i get used to it, i'm going to have hang around for 15 seconds to make sure they have gone off ... ... - .- -.

Stan you have been in FFRRs for too long, always second guessing whether it does what it is supposed to do

The DRLs look very nice by the way !! MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
