Not sure about on switch off but there have been a few posts on here about them doing a full sweep at start up but they can get gummed up and this can cause an engine system fault if they are restricted. You can apparently free them off and get 3 in 1 sprayed on there to solve the issue. |

Had the turbos rebuilt they were working fine when I removed them now I've refitted them it's low on power low down and engine fault light comes on . Passengers side moves about 12mm and drivers side moves about 2mm when you turn the ignition on but they don't do a full sweep ?? |

Well that's certainly not right! I'm no expert but from what l have read at start up the arms go through the full motion maybe more than once from memory so they should both move at least the same amount. Have you had the codes read? That should give you a good idea of what's wrong if the engine management light comes on! |

Who rebuilt the turbos, I know they have to be calibrated once rebuilt and there are very few places with the kit to do it |

Do they have the electronic calibration kit to do it? Iv head loads of people have turbos rebuilt or new cores fitted then just get endless actuator fault issues |

The guy that rebuilt my turbo had to send it somewhere to get it done, I can try and find out where he sent it |

Soon as you undo the bolts that hold the actuator on you will lose the calibration so another actuator won't be much help |
