Yes, not inspiring at all nor engaging. I thought the Gordon Ramsey bit was cringeworthy and the chemistry was .................ummmmm............somewhere else. Shame really as whilst I'm not a 'massive' fan of Chris Evans, I do like his breakfast show and clearly he is hugely successful .................but perhaps Top Gear was too much of a hard task to continue to produce. I feel that Amazon Prime may get a few more subscribers than they originally thought.

I did not watch it I don't like the ginger man, looks like I did not miss anything then. The worst thing about being retired is you miss out on all the bank holidays |

'Cos he's a naturally mouthy tw4t. Exactly the same on Radio 2, so much so that I have to keep messing with the volume, one second he talks normally, the next he's back to shouting again. Up, down, up, down, my volume level has more ups and downs than a bride's nightie trying to listen to him. The main reason I changed to Radio 4 for the commute. Sadly there are no independent stations that provide reception all the way. |

When it's analysed on viewing figures alone, it was a hit. It was the second most-watched TV programme of the evening next to Countryfile.

I always thought Clarkson a kn0b and Top Gear "stunts" asinine and childish- which is why i stopped watching long ago. However I did watch episode 1 to give the new team a chance, i did like Sabine, could get to like Matt but Chris Evans is worse than Clarkson so I guess i'll stick to , Car SOS, Wheeler Dealers and Fifth Gear as they seem to contain more information compared to Top Gear which is pure entertainment (for some). Quite agree it was a good watch and the fact that the presenters were new and not trying too hard made it a relaxed and very enjoyable watch. Maybe this should be the main show... (Watch it online) |
