Just had our RR serviced my a friend and now the dashboard says the following:

STOP ! ENGINE OILPRESS

And the oil light keeps flashing?

Any ideas.

Just checked oil it's clean and on the full mark 😡

Error code comes up as LCM- LIGHT-CONTROL

Took the car for a little drive and as soon as its driven the message disappears but as soon as you stop the message pops back up on the dash. Range Rover quotes.....

Replace the oil filter with an OEM one, and make sure it's fitted properly

The filter is by Britparts all the cars filters was changed as a service pack.

Will check the oil filter to see if it's tight hence why no oil pressure building up. Range Rover quotes.....

They sell some decent stuff, but they are known as "$hitpart" for a reason and I would never use anything but an OEM oil filter.  Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Can you check the wiring to the oil pressure sensor? It's under the filter housing. As for the filter, there's a bypass valve if the filter gets blocked so even a Britpart one shouldn't cause the pressure sensor to trigger

Me not machanical minded so where is the sensor!

Also just checked the filter, it's tight as a ducks rear end. Range Rover quotes.....
