What is the best and most suitable vacuum to use ? There are loads on eBay? |

I use one called mityvac, although it's not quite large enough for to remove all the oil in one go

Just checked and the id of the tube is only 5.4mm so a 5mm tube needs to go down there. Thats not much of an id to get the oil oil out, especially if its cold! It must take ages! |

The mityvac comes with different tube diameters that will fit down most (if not all) dipstick pipes

a tube doesn't go down the dipstick tube it attaches to the top of it, on the 4.4 the tube is connected to a drain off point at the bottom of the sump There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

That's what I was told.... Could have been bamboozled though. Mine has a kinda of bayonet fitting on the top. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
