Not had a problem with the rusty discs in the past. Could be a sat nav issue where the algorithm sees a defeat riffed country lane and works out that at 60 that route would be quicker that a trunk road which at have stretches at 50 or 40.

In a similar vein I recalibrate the satnav for both location and direction and it's fine for the next 30 minutes or so then just picks a random location to indicate current location. Anyone got any ideas what the issue could be?

^this could be the GPS antenna failing, have a search as there is a couple of threads on it. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

My wife and I refer to our sat navs as Lady Map. Female voice and can't navigate.

Calibrated it everything seems fine it comes up with the 3 route and I check that it's following motorways and major roads but then it gets to a point and decides to go on a country diversion ,it's okay around towns but it seems to onl do it on long journeys L322 2008 vogue
