As said before, this truly beggars belief , they must assume owners are muppets, it's not "character", it's clearly their issue! |

These are pictures of the courtesy car front door. After the repair my car now looks almost identical
On this second picture you can clearly see the dent rising above the reflected plastic The only way I could get them to show up was using the kerb of my drive and a piece of straight plastic. |

Good photos and I would not accept that on a brand new car. I totally agree with you, this has to be sorted properly even if you decide to kick a ball against the door to create the same effect |

Looks like a ripple where the door skin is bonded to the internal framework |

The rear door is harder to photograph as the door skin does curve out slightly towards the back door. However this is supposed to be a gradual sloping out. On my car and on the courtesy car there is a distinctive crease line.

I guess it depends on the range of 'to some degree' and whether yours is within the normal tolerance.

Is it a dent - or a curve in a panel ? |

Was the law not changed at the end of last year to be more in favour of the purchaser? I'm sure it's easier now to reject a car. Previously..

This isn't a hand built vehicle. The doors should all be identical, save for colour or trim. Random variations in parts (ANY parts) seem a lot more like the British Leyland days where parts had only coincidental chances of actually fitting together. Not good. ![]() |
