Hi all.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place ive only just joined today.

Ive got a problem with my 2003 TD6.

Ive had some idiot out to try and repair my instrument cluster for the pixel distoration they all have.

The guy managed to do nothing but completeley mess my clocks up.

The clocks were fine before except for the pixel damage.

The clocks now work except I dont get any indictaors on the dash, they simply dont flash on dashboard.

I dont get other things light fog lights or main beam etc..
All the functions work o n the car they just dont work on dashboard itself.
Other thing I have found out as well is the steering wheel remotes both sides have lost there illumination..?


Anybopdy please can you explain to me what has gone wrong and what I have to do to fix it.

The guy who came out to me opened up the clocks and attahced 6 wires onto the back of the clocks and read and programmed ths clcoks with what he called new softawre.

He states its not his fault and hes done hundreds?!

Any body please?

Get him to come back and fix it.

Not answering his phone

Wont take my calls.

What else can I do?

Could it be somthing like a fuse or relay? Broken wire?

Report it to your Local Trading Standards and see what they say.

Pay him in a visit

With some mates

Sadly, it sounds like he's a cowboy and he's never going to ackowledge your calls.

Understand that you may not realise at the time that other instruments were not working, but did he not at least show it to you that the pixels was fixed before you pay him?

Not too sure whether this would constitute as slander, but I think you should name & shame
