I found a very local wholesaler who deals with viseeo, turns out they never paid Apple a licensing fee for the 30 pin plug on the wma1000, and when they got found out they couldn't afford the cost , so the model was dropped immediately. |

So taking my thin phone cover off, my Apple converter (which didn't work) now works - I guess it is now properly plugged in!

I know this is an old thread but it seems to dance around a problem I have which is that I have repurposed an old iphone4 to be my iPod. When plugged in to the iPod connector in the RR it gives me the standard incompatible device warning and sort of works from the steering wheel controls. I can turn up and down and advance through the tracks (can't go backwards though) so I can put up with all that but it doesn't seem to charge which is a problem, can it be fixed with a different cable? |

I've ordered this :----Goliton® Interface adapter cable for iPhone/iPod 30 Pin Connector to LAND ROVER LR4 Range Rover Sport --- from Amazon (cheaper than eBay) as my old Audi cable charges old iPod OK but not iPhone 4.
