Interesting read, I found my Ipod Nano does not charge when plugged into the Ipod adaptor, I heard rumour that a later adaptor fixed this? Does anyone know if this is the case and if so what the part number is?

Tried to get a wma1000 but can nit find a source. Where did you guys order yours?

eBay is your best bet, there are some on right now..

I found a very local wholesaler who deals with viseeo, turns out they never paid Apple a licensing fee for the 30 pin plug on the wma1000, and when they got found out they couldn't afford the cost , so the model was dropped immediately.

Glad I got mine in time. 1 for the Range, 1 for the BMW 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

Yup, ebay's the only place now!

So taking my thin phone cover off, my Apple converter (which didn't work) now works - I guess it is now properly plugged in!

My new WMA1000 (bought new from Amazon) arrived today to give me a wireless option if I don't need to charge

Will try it tomorrow and report back

The Apple white plastic adaptor does the job....

The Visseeo WMA1000 thingy seems to work as well as you could hope.

Full menu, lists of albums, artists etc all available on sat Nav/audio screen.

Phone connects the moment you get in the car and seems to play guest album.

Great little product but I guess difficult to get hold of and not cheap as such!

I know this is an old thread but it seems to dance around a problem I have which is that I have repurposed an old iphone4 to be my iPod. When plugged in to the iPod connector in the RR it gives me the standard incompatible device warning and sort of works from the steering wheel controls. I can turn up and down and advance through the tracks (can't go backwards though) so I can put up with all that but it doesn't seem to charge which is a problem, can it be fixed with a different cable?  Geoff

is that into the black cable? I have an old 4, i can try on mine and see if I get similar results if you like...... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I've ordered this :----Goliton® Interface adapter cable for iPhone/iPod 30 Pin Connector to LAND ROVER LR4 Range Rover Sport --- from Amazon (cheaper than eBay) as my old Audi cable charges old iPod OK but not iPhone 4.
