I would suggest that you have it plugged in to see if there are any faults.... I had a similar problem, but when mine didn't want to start, it would after a while, cough in to life.... turned out to be 2 injectors... but I had to leave mine for hours to get anything near normal starting, and when it all finally gave up, I had the worse misfire ever.... felt like clutch judder, only I don't have a clutch
If your car is not showing any faults then I'd be looking at the injectors.... but from what you have described, I'd be surprised if there wasn't a gremlin in the works and the ECU has recorded the fault Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
