Rear Passenger side electric window not working

hi all,

today i removed my door card and noticed when i put it back on the window doesnt work, i didnt test it beforehand but all connections are back together fine, and the same as the other side which works fine as i checked.

it doesnt even work from the master drivers window swich control either, i hear no clicks at all when using the switch

has anyone had this problem, what could be the cause, could it be a faulty switch even though the master switch doesnt operate it either? are all windows on seperate fuses does anybody know?

it may be that this window has never been used since i bought the car as i very rarely have passengers

thanks in advance! Thumbs Up

hi stan, there is only one connector going into the window switch, and its been reseated several times so i dont think thats an issue, surely it would still work from the Drivers side main switch panel also?

the WM says that window operation doesnt work if the front door is open..not sure what that means but shut all doors and try the windows...

Thanks Stan, i shut both front doors and tried, and i can now hear it Clicking from the BCM under the seat but the window still doesn't work, all the others work fine.

does that mean its the window motor?

I had a similar problem a couple of weeks ago. Both rear windows wouldn't work from the drivers door switches or the rear switches. I could hear the BCM clicking along with the odd dull thud from inside the doors. Eventually, after much fiddling with all the switches they both kicked into life and now seem fine. I can only put it down to lack of use and/or dirty switch contacts.
