Changed Puncture and now fault

Had a blow out on the motorway. Change the wheel and now I've got a suspension fault. It only flashes up when I slow down and come to a stop. All works fine lower and higher suspension bug does say compressor needs to cool down.
If I slam no the brake no fault.
I've not got the tpms fitted.

Any thoughts.

Constantly filling up the system, usually indicates a small leak in a bag, you could have tipped it over the edge with jacking it up, a part of the bag that never gets folded, will be folded, and has probably developed a leak... out with the soapy water in a spray bottle, then get suspension all the way up to off road and squirt away.... Thumbs Up Pete

Shocked
Ooooh I hope not. If it is a bag how easy is it to replace.

Could this be covered in the warranty I wonder if it is leaking ?

Conceptually the bags aren't too difficult to replace. However...

They're about £600 for both front bags from Island 4x4 (cheapest I've heard of and where I sourced mine from). I wandered down to my local indie and they said they'd do it for £130. At that price I said they could do it. Passenger side came off and was replaced in 15 minutes, they then spent just over an hour on the driver side undoing three bolts... Ed

umm When you say "Blowout" was that it went flat and still looks like a tyre, or was it totally disintegrated and looks like a few bits of rubber stuck on a rim....... Whistle cos if we is talking, there is nothing left that resembles the tyre there is a chance that the airbag may have been punctured by the bits of tyre falling off Shocked

A de-laminating tyre can do a lot of damage at motorway speeds...... Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Why are the TDV8 struts so expensive? are they that different to the earlier L322 struts, or are they the same the TDV8 written on them and a 100% mark up for good measure Shocked Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

The rear drivers tyre went pop has a hole big enough to put your finger in, lucky for me I was just entering a 50mph zone on the motorway. The rest of the tyre was fine, the side wall was Censored too with it running flat.

This morning I though it was all ok until about 10 miles into my drive to work. Stopped at a set of lights and bing light pops up, but when I set off all goes back to normal.

Any ideas what it could be ?.
Why a front strut ?

No particular reason apart from it's what went on mine and I was guessing that if a tyre went it was more likely to be a front as that would hit something first. Ed

Right so the bad news is you are still feeling a little deflated Wink

But the very good news is that it was a rear tyre...... which the airbag is totally separate from the damper.... and therefore shed loads cheaper, I'd be surprised if they were different to the earlier L322 bags, which are around £135 each Smile

There is a vulnerable pipe in that area that chafes and wears through, might have received a bash, or it could still be a hole in your balloon....... reckon that the fairy liquid will have to come out to play. You obviously hit something rather sharp and fairly large, so the impact shouldn't be that hard to find, especially if it's hissing at you Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Just popped down to Landranger in Atherton, only 25 min from me, Martin deleted the fault code and hopefully that sorted it. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for all your input Thumbs Up
