thats cheap but remember that the weekly wage was around £30 and you could buy a house for £5k..lager , 20p per pint, ciggys 20p for 20..

That's still more than I paid for the ML I remember buying 2 star for the lawn mower and paying 37P a gallon Those were the days... when mars bars were 3 times the size of the things we get now a days and they were wrapped in paper so you could rip in to them like a man.... now you have to eat your way in, spitting bits of plastic as you go Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer...
