Not long returned from a big tour round Europe. Having the tag for the French tool roads is great help. No waiting at the booths, no non sterling transaction charges, no looking for change. It just makes life simple! Oh and having everyone who overtook you stuck at booths while you dive through is just priceless  You are either at Le Mans or waiting for Le Mans

Was a real bonus on the south of france trip. I would say the for the most part north of Dijon on the route south there aren't too many tolls so it doesn't really come into play and they are mostly pretty quiet so not much time saved. It's when you get south and the roads get busier, Lyon-marseille that it really comes into its own.

It saved us loads of time on the bottom leg of the journey, mostly at the big tolls south of orange and on to the A8. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Just a word of advice RE toll tags.

They appear to be very sensitive to electrical interference. I had my dashcam mounted on the other side of the mirror to the tag and it stopped the tag working! Took the camera off and everything is now hunky dory! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
